Colon Cleanser

Our colon cleanser is formulated with a selected blend of herbs that have been traditionally used to increase bowel movement and promote the clearance of toxic waste and congestion in the colon. 
 
it’s a wonderful blend of gentle laxative, soluble fibre and carminative herbs, that effectively open the bowels without causing stomach cramps and pain. 
 
it contains herbs such as Cascara Sagrada, Rhubarb root, Psyllium husk, ginger and fennel.
 
Cascara Sagrada:
A bitter and slightly sweet herbs that contain anthraquinone glycosides such cascarosides which stimulate peristalsis (movement) in the large intestine. Its laxative action help to re-educate the bowel to open more frequently.
 
Psyllium husk: 
Is the seeds and husk of Plantago ovata, traditionally it is used as a bulking laxative due its mucilage-like polysaccharide and soluble fibre, it also helps to soothe and protect the mucus lining of the colon.
 
Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare):
A carminative, aromatic and anti-spasmatic herbs that help to reduce, bloating, flatulence and digestive cramps. it also stimulates the digestion and increases appetite.
 
Direction:
Mix 1-2 tsp in a glass of room temperature or lukewarm water, drink then follow with a glass of water before going to sleep.
 
take on a short interval, no more than a week.
 
Caution.
do not take if pregnant, experiencing diarrhoea, loose stools are experiencing severe stomach cramps.
 
seek medical advice if on any long-term medication.
